Ronald K. Malone, an ordained deacon, is the Minister of Music and Worship Arts. His God-given skills as a playwright, vocalist, choirmaster and choreographer have thrust the music ministry and worship at David Memorial into wide acclaim. He oversees three choirs, the New Male Chorus, the Virginia Woodard Chorale and the New Generation Youth and Young Adult Choir, a liturgical dance troupe, the Imani Dancers and the David Players, an accomplished aggregate of Christian actors.
Deacon Malone is a former Baltimore City Student Commissioner and national student leader. He holds a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from Howard University and a certificate in broadcasting from the Maryland Institute of Broadcasting. He is also the author of a trilogy of plays centering around a contemporary interpretation of the lives of such biblical characters as Joseph, Jacob and Esau and Sarah and Hagar. He is also noted for his spiritual gifts, warmth of personality and deep spirituality. |
